Community service

Went to do some community service in some sec sch today with my sch. hehe... meet lotsa new ppl... felt very shy. wooo..  We were ushered in to a classroom for a short briefing.  Somehow while listening to the briefing, feelings of nostalgia just being to overwhelm. Sitting at those sec sch desks seem too much a farmiliar scene. It somehow brought back fond memories -bitter, sweet and joyful. Days in sec sch were so so much fun then. Free from cares and worries, having fun disturbing teachers and hanging out after sch. Life was definitely much simpler then.

Aniwae we were then assigned each a student to be tutioned. I got a sec four technical stream boy. It went off quite well. A bright boy with an eagerness to learn and desires of his future were rather evident. Hmm wouldn't he be brighter if he were taught properly from his young age?

It then triggered off some of my thought chain: " what if we were put under some genuises and were being pushed to break our limits? I would opt to think that we wouldn't be what we are this day". Perhaps somebody who's more capable, talented, knowledgable by a greater measure? Somebody once mentioned that Albert Enistein only used 10% of his brain power. Are we capable of breaking that barrier? Or can we be pushed to near that level? I opt to believe that ppl in general (not all), are given abilities, which under strict training, discipline and molding, will bring out a gem. Well then, consider those world records being broken and the athletes that broke them. Ask them, they'll prob tell a similar story of sheer discipline and diligence. But can we?

" The sluggard craves and get nothing but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied" Proverbs 13:4
