Life

I was inspired when i read the papers today. It set my train of thoughts rolling for a good 5 minutes at least. Like many others, i'm guilty of blaming other ppl or things that ard me when circumstances go wrong or didn't turn out as expected. I mean not always but certain times when i was wondering why some ppl are so much better off than i do, how others get such good things and y not me. Y ppl have this and that, get more chances in life and things they do... blah blah blah...

I mean we can wonder all we want, and the fact is that, there will always be ppl who are more successful, richer, smarter, beautiful/handsome, talented, sportier and fitter. Similary, like s'pore decades ago, where we were but just a poor little piece of small nation. No one thought we could make it, but they were wrong. (paraphrasing) " These were the cards we were dealt with, take them and use them to the maximum effect." says our minister mentor.LKY.

I agreed fully with his statement. similarly in life, i mean we may not have the circumstances, but we could take those cards we have and deploy them and use them to the maximum effect. Somebody mentioned before: it's not what u have that matters, it's how u make use of it that counts. In a certain sense, i agree.
