I think i quite like staying in singapore. Besides the exorbitant prices of living, the food here rockz. I barely could imagine me staying in western countries for long.

HMmmmm let's see how to describe it... i'll try.

For me i like local food. That includes:

Laksa,chicken rice, chicken wings
Ban mian, char kway tiao, nasi lemak
Rojak!! Yu pian mee fen, Hor fun,sambal Kang kong
Sambal sting ray, mee soto

Teh see, Teh O, and Kopi !!

Although variety varies in western countries, food of which the prices comparable to those listed above, are limited.

Let's look at some common Western food of the same prices = pasta, burgers, fries, soft drinks, chips, fish, chicken, steak. Let's take the most common meal. Burgers, fries and coke. ( May need to pay more for the rest).

Now let's compare the food of about the same prices:

Laksa = Burgers, fries and coke.
Dim Sum = Burgers, fries and coke.
Ban mian = Burgers, fries and coke.
Nasi lemak = Burgers, fries and coke.
Hor fun = Burgers, fries and coke.
Rojak = Burgers, fries and coke.
Kang Kong = Burgers, fries and coke.
Char Kway Tiao = Pasta
Chicken rice = Pasta
La mian = Pasta

Imagine eating the same thing everyday.
On top of that, where to find milo peng, teh peng, tao hway chwee(soya bean drink), cheng teng. Imagine life without teh peng or rojak. How to get the motivation in life ??
